Be a part of an Okotoks sustainable event! This Saturday, May 10th 2014 from 9:00am – 12:00pm is the annual River Valley Clean up and tree planting event!

This event is at Ethel Tucker park, from 9 – 11am the volunteers will clean the river and plant new trees, and starting at 11am will be the volunteer BBQ!
Here’s some reminders for Okotoks Sheep River Valley clean up volunteers:
- Wear weather appropriate attire including long sleeves, pants, gloves, eye wear and tennis shoes/boots.
- Gloves, goggles and clean up supplies will be provided.
- Bring your shovels for tree planting!
- Children under 12 must be supervised at all times, and dogs must be kept on a leash and cleaned up after.
The town of Okotoks, the Okotoks River Valley Committee, local Okotoks businesses and community volunteers are all excited to be a part of this fun and productive day. We hope that you can participate and enjoy the BBQ after all your hard work! It takes a team to keep Okotoks beautiful and sustainable!
