The Best Dang Golf Tournament of the Summer to be held in Okotoks
Okotoks is set to host “The Best Dang Golf Tournament of the Summer!” organized by Okotoks BMX and KidSport Okotoks, which will be held on September 15, 2014 at the D’Archy Ranch Golf Course.
Before summer ends, the community is invited to come together in this event that aims to ensure that all children of Okotoks can experience the benefits of organized sports regardless of their financial situation. All the monetary support that will be raised during the tournament will fund the building and maintenance of a provincial caliber BMX track for the use of everyone in Okotoks, including Ranchers’ Rise residents. This will also be used by the BMX Club as a qualification to host Okotoks’ very own provincial weekend races, which in turn, can be a great way to get more involved in the community.
