Hi everyone! Mickey here again, taking a moment out of my day to let my Ranchers’ Rise neighbours hear more about why I love the springtime. Today, for me, it’s all about baking in my Ranchers’ Rise kitchen with my human.
We both love heading into the kitchen and throwing something into the oven. Slide open the windows to let the fresh air in, and start filling up the house with that smell of cookies. I can’t have chocolate, of course, but here’s one of my human’s favourite recipes – and one I get a bite of too.
- 2 Cups Peanut Butter
- 2 Cups White Sugar
- 2 Teaspoons Baking Soda
- 2 Eggs
- 1.5 Teaspoons Vanilla Extract
- A Pinch of Salt
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and mix the peanut butter and sugar together until it becomes smooth. Then beat in the eggs and stir in the remaining ingredients. Then just roll the dough into small balls and place them on the cookie sheets. Bake for 10 minutes and you’re done!
That’s a simple recipe, right? But what’s even simpler is falling in love with a Ranchers’ Rise home – especially the kitchen. Each kitchen is designed with wide open spaces, plenty of countertop room for humans to work, and the best appliances available. Combine this with a design that ensures everything flows together and it’s not hard to see why my human spends so much time in the kitchen every day. In other words, everyone has an easy time with whatever it is that they’re cooking up.
My human loves to cook, and I love it when they do. It’s even better when we have friends over, but even if it’s just us there’s nothing that is quite as relaxing as spending some time together making cookies, cakes, and even bread in our beautiful Ranchers’ Rise kitchen. If you’re ready to see what you’re missing out and what a great kitchen can really be, looking at the new homes in Okotoks that are available in Ranchers’ Rise could be worth doing.
