Hello everyone, it’s Mickey here again! You’ve probably already realized that both my human and I love living in Ranchers’ Rise and in the Town of Okotoks in general. But while there are plenty to get out and see or do in the area, sometimes I really just love to relax at home.
There are plenty of reasons for that, and I figured that if you take a look at some of the great indoor activities I love here, you’ll see just why sometimes staying in our Okotoks home really is the best way to spend a day.
One of my favorite things to do is just to lounge in the living room. Our Rancher’s Rise home features a cozy living area with big windows and comfy furniture that is perfect for watching a movie with my human. There are great views from anywhere in the house that remind me how much I love the area, and the design of the home makes it easy for me to settle in and feel comfortable – even when my human is away.
It’s probably not a surprise that I really love to play, and even when we’re inside for the day we still get plenty of that in. The open floor plan makes it easy for my human to toss a ball for me and lets me run without worrying about constant walls and doors getting in my way – plus it just makes the house feel even bigger and roomier for me to enjoy. The hardwood floors make it easy to run without tripping up on anything, too.
Of course, I love to eat and I love it when my human cooks and fills the house with the smell of their food. I hang out in the kitchen a lot – not only is it really nice and very large, but it just feels comfortable in there. The humans seem to really appreciate the appliances and I constantly hear them talking about how great the counter space is, but I’m more focused on what’s in the oven than on that!
I like the upstairs, too, and the stairs are big enough for me to climb easily. I usually spend my time up there lounging in the bed and watching the view outside as well.
As you can see, from watching a movie with my human to chasing my ball around while they cook dinner, there’s plenty for me to relax and enjoy in our home.
