Here in Ranchers’ Rise, the homeowners are more than just customers; they are our friends and neighbours. We’re so happy to feature another story about new homeowners in Ranchers’ Rise: please join us in welcoming Kirsten Freeland, an entrepreneur and mother to seven-year-old Simon and eighteen-year-old Morgan to the neighbourhood!
Meet Kirsten Freeland and Family
An Okotoks resident, Kirsten recently downsized her home but knew that she wanted to stay in Okotoks. With family already settled in the area, it was one of the first places that she looked so that she could stay close to them and also be nearby Simon’s elementary school. It turns out the decision was easy – Kirsten decided to build fairly quickly after seeing the lots available!
Her wishes were fairly simple for her new home and Ranchers’ Rise ticked all the boxes: as the head of her family, Kirsten wanted something brand new for minimal maintenance and a fresh start. It was also important to her to have good guidance and a lot of support from the builder.
“Having to do it on my own for the first time, my communication and relationship with the sales team was very important,” said Kirsten. “I found them very helpful and a pleasure to work with. Including their help with the interior design too.”
An active family, being in close proximity to Ranchers’ extensive pathway system is an excellent option for the family’s daily walks with their dog, Bedford. The family also spends time scoping out the hidden gems Okotoks has to offer – local coffee shops, clothing stores, and the great sports opportunities. Kirsten is looking forward to the new commercial development in Ranchers’ and what it will add to the community.
When asked how she has enjoyed living in her new home, Kirsten simply said “It’s a good street full of great neighbours – a great community in a great town.”
We couldn’t agree more, Kirsten!
